 Towable
Oil Bladders
Collapsible, temporary, liquid storage containers which can be used to
store recovered oil on dry land or floating in the water. They can be
towed by boat, empty or full. Four (4) standard sizes with capacities
ranging from 500 gallons through 2,500 gallons. (1,893 liters to 9463
liters)
Flotation
Ethafoam panels, 1" x 6" x 4 1/2", covered with XR-5B
yellow fabric on the top surface of the bladder.
Tension Members
Two (2) each 5/16" galvanized and vinyl coated steel cables, one
along each side of the bladder extending from connector end to connector
end.
Fill/Drain
Two (2) each aluminum flanges with 2" female threads, one on top
of the bladder and one on the bottom. Customer to supply the appropriate
valves or hose fittings to best suit the intended use.
Towing Ends
Heavy Duty aluminum "Universeal" connectors with aluminum back
and bolt roped fabric ends. A matching tow bridle is provided to tow
the bladder from either end.
Vent/Pressure Relief
One (1) pressure relief valve is located top center.
