Smart Ash Frequently Asked Questions

1. What will my Smart Ash burn?
Smart Ash is designed to incinerate oil soaked materials, (oil and fuel filters, oily rags,) grease, paper products and general non-hazardous waste.

2. How much will the incinerator burn?
50 pounds per hour.

3. How does it work?
Air is forced over the burning material inside the drum. The air swirls vigorously over the flame causing it to burn very hot and clean. Smoke particles are caught in the whirlwind and re-burned. No smoke is emitted from Smart Ash when burning at temperature.

4. What do I provide?
A power supply (120 volt or 220 volt) and a 55 gallon round head steel drum.

5. Is it OK to use the Smart Ash incinerator?
Emissions from the Smart Ash are so small that the Federal EPA has exempted Smart Ash from state emission plans. (40CFR part 60)

6. How big is the Smart Ash?
Smart Ash is shipped in a box accepted by UPS. When the shipment is received, the customer assembles the Smart Ash cart and the incinerator is ready to use.

7. How long will it take me to receive a Smart Ash after I make the order?
Smart Ash incinerators are kept in stock and can be shipped soon after the order is received.
