Magnetic Hull Connectors

The hull mounted connector is a magnetic holder for attaching one end of a boom section to the hull of a ship. The holder is normally attached at the water line.

The connector consists of powerful magnets attached to a Universeal connector with an oil stopping gasket in between. An overcenter handle at the top of the connector releases the connector from the hull and a flotation buoy prevents loss during handling.
