Tide
Slides The "H" beam device consists of a heavy duty stainless or aluminum slider unit that fits over the end of a steel "H" beam which is bolted to the sea wall. The slide is equipped with a Delrin roller wheels which slide up and down on the face of the beam. The total travel of the slider is adjusted by placing bolts through the "H" beam top and bottom to stop the slide. This tide slide is equipped with two urethane floats to give the unit buoyancy. This keeps the slide from pulling down the end of the boom and if dropped in the water prevents it from sinking. The unit is also equipped with neoprene wiper blades that create a seal between the "H" beam and the slider so oil can't leak out around. |

| The slotted tube device consists of a heavy wall marine aluminum or stainless steel slotted tube fitted with mounting plates for attachment to a bulkhead, seawall, piling, etc. A connector equipped with four Delrin wheels, contoured to ride in the slotted tube, connects the oil boom to the tide slide. The slotted tubes have stop bolts at top and bottom to prevent the wheeled connectors from coming out of the tubes and to prevent the loss of the wheeled connectors when no boom is connected to the tide slide. The slides are available in 2 foot length increments ranging from 4 feet to 12 feet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
